If Dire Dawa is a welcome piece of tranquillity after Addis Ababa, then African village is the perfect place to rediscover your Zen. The clean, well-designed courtyard surrounded by tukuls (tradition grass roof circle houses) isocated on a quiet back street, but in walking distance from the old town. The room are clean, well equipped and furnished with beautiful hand-made bamboo furniture. The pizza and juice are excellent and the parrot alarm call in the morning is not a bad way to be woken.
